Prior to becoming a real estate broker, James Dawson served the State of Texas as a judge and certified public school administrator. Much of his working life was focused on education, including university appointments and administrative assignments. Additionally, James had a 25-year career as an international performing artist with extensive travel, radio, and television appearances and a successful recording career.
 
James takes pride in being an effective communicator and consummate negotiator. He is always seeking win-win strategies for all parties involved. James’ clients remark on his attention to detail and that he is never too busy to take a phone call. He strives to exceed expectations and treat everyone fairly and honestly.
 
James and his wife (and real estate partner) Rebecca have been married for almost 29 years. James has two children from a previous marriage and two granddaughters, Kenedy age 16, and Liberty age 13. His son Jim lives in Chicago with his family and owns a successful after-market auto business, and his daughter Kathleen lives in Detroit and works in the pharmaceutical industry.
